The year 2023 was marked by a series of educational and awareness-raising events, reaching beyond the emblematic boat journey across Lake Maggiore. The project WHISTLE, thanks to the leadership of the Courage Foundation, engaged participants in schools and throughout various municipalities, with each event aimed at fostering a culture that upholds respect and safety for all.
To capture the collective efforts against gender violence, the Courage Foundation, operating under the Erasmus+ Sport programme, has released a 2024 calendar that celebrates the success of the “WINGS STOP WHISTLE” campaign and many other events carried out the previous here, part of the broader project “WHISTLE”. This calendar stands as a visual narrative of the year’s events, bringing together the community’s commitment to ending violence against women.
The calendar presents a collection of photos and unforgettable memories from the project WHISTLE, each month showcasing the vibrant activities and the people who made them happen. From the energy of school workshops to the solidarity of community events, the calendar reflects a year of dedication to this critical social issue.
By distributing the calendar to the supporting municipalities and first to the Istituto Maggia, the Courage Foundation acknowledges and appreciates the vital roles these entities played. This calendar is not only a token of gratitude but also a reminder of the ongoing commitment needed to ensure a future free from violence.
With the turn of each page, the Courage Foundation, alongside its partners, reaffirms its resolve to combat gender violence.
