Meetings in Italy

From 22 to 26 May 2021 we all met in Castelletto sopra Ticino for a fantastic meeting organized by Accademia Judo Castelletto, where they took us to the administrations of Castelletto and Arona. They hosted us and shared their commitment against all kinds of violence. “Violence is the last refuge of the incapable!”

Also the 3rd of July the Portuguese partners, Ginasio Clube Portugues, joined us in Italy for another meeting where we visited sports facilities such as “Wave” the municipal swimming pool, but above all the municipality of Sesto Calende hosted the 4TPM.

The importance of sport as a tool for education in respect and the role of public administration in preventing violence and supporting victims were discussed. The guests welcomed with great interest the testimony of the vice president of the Donna Sicura di Sesto Calende association. There is no lack of ambition to promote the Wings initiative for next 25 November, with events on the web and in person
