The project has developed a comprehensive program committed to promoting in all Italian prisons a wider participation of the prison population in physical activities. The activities developed within the project have focused on three main themes: sport as a vehicle for building or reconstructing physical and psychological abilities; sport as a place of safety in which to learn self-discipline, respect for rules and roles, socialization; sports associations as reference points and opportunities to settle in the local community. The project has achieved excellent results and a high level of participation. The project has achieved excellent results and a high level of participation.
