SEE and Hear

SEE and Hear

Have you ever thought about what the connection among Plovdiv, Skopje, Stara Zagora and Edirne might be? That is right – our project “SEE and Hear”! We are delighted to announce that together with partners from Plovdiv, Macedonia and Turkey, we combined efforts to contribute to local and international tourism. The objective of SEE and Hear is to promote cultural heritage, educate locals on well and not so well known sightseeings, and increase the rates of tourism in the areas. Another objective we aim for is to create a tourist route which combines the history and diversity of the 4 cities. In order to achieve our goals, we implemented the following actions:

*Organised tours in partner cities – we visited monuments, drank traditional Turkish tea with locals and dived into old bazars where craft jewelry and objects are handmade by the traders themselves

*Created our own SEE and Hear guide which aims to reach a larger audience than the tours. Not only is the information in the guide interesting and easily readable, but it is perfect for people who consider visiting Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Edirne or Skopjie

*Went on social media where we post weekly updates on different landmarks of different cities. The objective is to let more people know about our project and provide a resource for education for potential tourists, locals and authorities.

Throughout our next few publications, we will update on our visits to each city, providing information on the activities we did and the things we have learned about.
